DO clean up loose debris
Before you start to mop your tiles, begin by removing any dust or debris that may have accumulated. This can be achieved with a quick vacuum or by wiping the tiles with a dry cloth or soft brush. You should do this weekly or fortnightly to stop your tiles from losing their shine.
DON’T use ammonia or bleach based cleaners

DON’T use a fabric mop
Mopping the floors might seem like a quick way to clean, but fabric mops can push dirty water into the grout lines, making them harder to clean. Opt for a chamois-style mop for floor tiles, or a microfibre cloth for the best results - and be sure to change that cloudy water frequently!
DO work from top to bottom
It’s a common sense tip, but you would be surprised by how many people might forget! If you’re cleaning wall tiles or splashbacks, halve the work required to clean your tiles by working from top to bottom. That way, your cleaning products and residue won’t drip onto your newly cleaned tiles!
DON’T forget to clean your grout
